The Cadillac SRX 2011 has been a great favorite since it was spruced up by General Motors last year. It quickly became the best seller in the developing market for compact luxury crossovers. What attracts vehicle buyers to this SUV is its unmistakable and compelling Cadillac flair as well as its numerous available gadgets and equipments.

The 2011 Cadillac SRX is equipped with a 6-speed transmission with a front-wheel drive but an All- wheel Drive is optional for all trim levels except the Base. This compact crossover attains a very respectable fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 25 mpg highway or a combined 21 mpg for the front-wheel drive and 17 mpg city, 23 mpg highway or 19 mpg combined for the All – wheel drive.
The 2011 Cadillac SRX attained a perfect five stars in the government crash test in front collision testing for driver and side protection and got a four star for front collision passenger protection while the Insurance Industry classified the 2011 Cadillac SRX as the “Top Safety Pick” since it has gained the highest scores in side, front roof and rear strength tests. The Stability Control Standard is another reason why this vehicle earned the award.

The Base 2011 Cadillac SRX’s safety features includes a passenger sensor airbags, driver airbags, OnStar Automatic Crash Response and emergency Services, StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System, Traction Control System and 40wheel antilock disc brakes. The 2011 Cadillac SRX also utilizes martens tic stainless steel, a very hard form of steel, for its body to mitigate damage during impact.
